9+(-6)
as we know that
+ - = - (with sign of greater value)
so
9-6
=3
ii) now -20 from the answer
i. e. -(-20)
3-(-20)
by opening the bracket
3+20
=23

9-6(+×- = -)
=3
And 3-(-20)
=3+20(-×-=+)
=23
