Maria was of a very small age , when she started her career as a tennis player . She had to leave her native place , and shift to Florida , for getting trained by professional coaches . Maria had to live alone , in the hostel , as her mother couldn't go with her due to some passport problem , and her father couldn't manage to get a leave from his job . Maria faced many problems as she was learning tennis . She was very small , so she slept at 8 PM , and then at 11 PM , the other pupils would come and make Maria , tidy the whole hostel room , and clean their beds . But , Maria was a person who never gave up , because she knew what she wanted to achieve . She was very optimistic , and had a great will power as well , hence leading her to the pinnacle of success in the history of Tennis .
