So it would take A double time to do the work so it should take 50 days to do the work instead of 25 days

Assume total work 25 units

A& B worked 15 days

i.e 15 units completed.

remaining work 10 units done by A in 20 days

i.e 10/20 = 1/2 is A's efficiency.

A can do 1/2 unit in one day.

A needs 50 days to complete whole 25 units work.
