Solution:

(A+B)'s 1 day's work = 145+140=17360145+140=17360

Work done by B in 23 days = 1×2340=23401×2340=2340

Remaining work = 1−2340=17401−2340=1740

Now,  1736017360 work was done by (A+B) in 1 day.

17401740 work was done by (A+B) in 1×36017×1740=9 days1×36017×1740=9 days

Therefore, A left after 9 days.
