Solution :-

Now velocity in km/min :

We have,

⇒ Distance covered = 5 km

⇒ Time taken = 20 minutes.

We know,

⊕ Velocity = Distance/Time

⇒ Velocity = 5/20

⇒ Velocity = 0.25 km/min

∴Velocity in km/min = 0.25 km/min (a)

Now velocity in m/s

Distance = 5 km

= 5 × 1000

= 5000 m

Time = 20 minutes

= (20 × 60) s

= 1200 s

⊕ Velocity = Distance/Time

⇒ Velocity = 5000/1200

⇒ Velocity = 4.17 m/s

∴ Velocity in m/s = 4.17 m/s (b)

Now velocity in m/min :

Distance = 5000 m

Time = 20 minutes

⊕ Velocity = Distance/Time

⇒ Velocity = 5000/20

⇒ Velocity = 250 m/min

∴ Velocity in m/min = 250 m/min (c)

Now velocity in km/h :

Distance = 5 km

Time = 20 min

= 20/60 h

= 0.33 h

⊕ Velocity = Distance/Time

⇒ Velocity = 5/0.33

⇒ Velocity = 15.15 km/h

∴ Velocity in km/h = 15.15 km/h (d)
