9.

Speed = 60 km/h

Time = 2 hrs

Distance = Speed * Time = 60 * 2 * km/h * h

= 120 km

Speed = 100 km/hr

Time Taken = Distance/Speed = 120/100 * km ÷ km/h = 1.2 hrs

10.

Speed = 48 km/h

Time = 10 hrs

Distance = Speed * Time = 48 * 10 * km/h * h

= 480 km

Time = 8 hrs

Speed = Distance/Time = 480/8 km/h = 60 km/h

11.

Food for 40 soldiers = 33 days

Food for one soldier = 33*40 = 1320 days

Food for 55 soldiers = 1320/55 days = 24 days

— The food will last for 24 days.
