9. A charge of 3 C is moved in an electric field from
infinity to two points A and B. If the work done in
bringing the charge to point A is 15 J and in bringing
it to point B is 21 J, calculate the potential difference
between points A and B.

Answer:

Given charge= 3C

Joules needed to reach from A to B=. 21 j -15 j

=6j

Now, according to formula of potential difference,

V=W/Q

= 6/3

=2 Volt
