Correct Questions :-

  1. Construct a ∆ABC in which BC = 12.5 cm, ∠B = 80° and ∠C = 40°.
  2. Construct a ∆PQR such that PQ = 6.5 cm, ∠P = 50° and ∠Q = 65°.

\:

\dashrightarrow Steps (1) :-

  • First, draw a line segment BC of 12.5 cm.
  • Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point B and draw a ray measuring 80°.
  • Again, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point C and draw a ray measuring 40°.
  • Join both the rays by extending them until they meet. The point where both the ray meets is named as point A.

\:

\dashrightarrow Steps (2) :-

  • First, draw a line segment PQ of 6.5 cm.
  • Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point P and draw a ray measuring 50°.
  • Again, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point Q and draw a ray measuring 65°.
  • Join both the rays by extending them until they meet. The point where both the ray meets is named as point R.

\dashrightarrow Instruments used :-

  • Ruler :- The ruler is used to draw the line segments of accurate measurements and also the drawn lines should be straight always.
  • Protractor :- The protractor is used to draw the rays of accurate measurements of degrees. It's also used to measure the angles given.
