ok. follow these steps.

first find total surface area.

1m sided square, two in number.

Area of square sides = 1m²+1m² = 2m²

area of four walls. + two squares

(2x1m²) x 4+2x1

8m²+2m²

10m²

lateral surface area is

2square side area +2 square side area

=2x2m²+2x1m²

=6m²
