To Find :  

. What length of the pipe

The length of the plot of wheat growing area

Which theorem is used for calculating length of square plot

total area of vegetable growing and wheat growing field?

Solution:

length of the pipe²  = 24² + 10²   = 26²

=> length of the pipe = 26 m

Let say side of square of largest size = x

using AAA

AAA   theorem is used for calculating length of square plot

(10 - x)/x  =  x/(24 - x)

=> 240 - 10x - 24x  + x² = x²

=> 240 - 34x = 0

=> 120 - 17x = 0

=> x = 120/17

The length of the plot of wheat growing area is 120/17

Area of triangle = (1/2) * 24 * 10  = 120  m²

total area of vegetable growing and wheat growing field  = 120  m²
