carbon dioxide

carbon dioxide is the gas exerted or I should say excreted by the lungs

when the the deoxygenated blood reaches lungs for purification the lungs take out carbon dioxide with the help of alveolar sacks and put in the oxygen this is the place where exchange of gases takes place

the carbon dioxide then via the bronchioles then bronchi then trachea then larynx then to pharynx then to nostrils reaches nose and is exerted
