Given: a piece of wire is bent in the shape of a square of side 11 cm it is Re

Bent to form a circular ring

find: what is the diameter of the Ring

solution:

Side of square = 11cm

Perimeter of square= 4x11= 44cm

Circumference of circle=2xplxr 44=2xpix

44+2=pixt Note:pi=22-7 or 3.14

22=(22+7)*

=(7+22)+22

r=7

So diameter =7*2-14
