a. The science diary of a student indicates about the stem cells.

b. In our body, due to the metabolic activity of the cells, the cells are regularly destroyed. This destruction of cells is compensated by the formation of new cells. The stem cells has regenerating capacity which helps in the production of new cells.

c.The stem cells play an important role in modern medicine as they are useful in bone marrow transplantation, cell-based therapies, curing of spinal cord injuries, drug discovery etc. This is done because of their ability to regenerate the damaged cells and tissues. They help in the repairing of damaged tissues.
