9. A road roller takes 750 complete revolutions to move
once over to level a road. Find the area of the road if the
diameter of a road roller is 84 cm and length is 1 m.​

continuing from above

h = 1 m

r = 42/100 m

curved surface area of roller = 2πrh

= 2*(22/7)*(42/100)*1

= 2.64 SQM

this is the area covered in one revolution.

area of road = area covered in 750 revolution

= 750*264 SQM

= 1980 sqm
