9. A satellite is rotating around the earth at a distance of 35600km above the surface of the earth. The radius of the earth is 6400km.If it takes a time of 24 hours to complete one revolution around the Earth, find the speed of the satellite.

-Distance of satellite from earth surface= 35600km
-Radius of earth = 6400km
So,
Total distance of satellite from the center of the earth is = 35600+6400
= 42000km
Total path distance of satellite = 2πr
=2x22/7 x 42000
= 6000x44
=264000km

Time to complete one circulation = 24hours

Speed of satellite = Total distance/Total time

=264000/24
=11000km/h
