Given :-

Average speed of the moving vehicle = 45 km/h

Time taken to reach it's destination = 5 hours

To Find :-

The distance covered by car.

Analysis :-

Here, we are given with speed and time required by the car.

In order to find the distance, substitute the values in it's respective formula accordingly.

Solution :-

We know that,

  • d = Distance
  • s = Speed
  • t = Time

By the formula,

\underline{\boxed{\sf Distance=Total \ speed \times Total \ time }}

Given that,

Speed (s) = 5 hours

Time (t) = 45 km/h

Substituting their values,

Distance = 45 × 5

Distance = 225 km

Therefore, the car covers a distance of 225 km.
