Answer:

(C) Tk 300

Step-by-step explanation:

/* Define the cost price */

Let the cost price be x

/* Find the price when it was sold at a loss of 10% */

Loss = 10% of x = 0.1x

Selling Price = x - 0.1x = 0.9x

/* Find the price when it is sold at a profit of 5% */

Profit = 5% of x = 0.05x

Selling Price = x + 0.05x = 1.05x

/* Solve x */

/* We know that the difference in the two prices is Tk 45 */

1.05x - 0.9x = 45

0.15x = 45

x = 45 ÷ 0.15

x = Tk 300

Answer: The cost price of the of wristwatch is Tk 300

answer is 300 5% of 300 is 15 and the watch was sold in 10% less and 10% of 300 is 30 and the selling prize is 270 if 45 added to 270 is 315 ,15 is more in 300 and 15 is 5% of 300 so, the cost of watch is 300.
