6

Let the 2 consecutive multiples

of 6 be = 6k, 6k+6

given:

9+[ 6k × (6k+6)] = 729

= 9+(36k^2+36) =729

=45+36k^2 = 729

36k^2=729-45

36k^2=684

k^2=684÷36

k=4.35

therefore 6k
