  1. The narrator knew how to treat him. He needed some exercise and normal eating regime to become normal and slimmer and well. So, he took Tricki to his clinic and kept him on normal diet; it played with other dogs, ran, jumped and had lots of fun with them.
  2. Though Hari Singh was only fifteen years old yet he was a seasoned and successful thief. He met Anil at a wrestling match. He decided to rob him.
  3. Matilda was always unhappy in her early married life because she was born in a family of clerks which seemed to be an error of destiny. She had high aspirations. She felt grieved at her miserable condition. She thought that she was born for all delicacies and luxuries of the world.
  4. When constable Jaffers tried to catch Griffin, he became invisible by removing his clothes. Jaffers found himself struggling with someone who couldn't be seen. He was hit blows by Griffin and soon was knocked unconscious.
  5. Herriot is tempted to keep Tricki as a permanent guest because of the good food and wine he is enjoying in Trick's name. He does not want to lose the luxurious inflow of fresh eggs, wine and brandy.
  6. In the story 'Footprints without Feet' the two boys in London was surprised and fascinated because they have noticed fresh muddy barefooted imprint on steps of the house. But though the mark of the foot was visible the barefooted man was invisible. Gradually the footprints become fainter and vanished.
