Answer: diffrence between strip cropping and shelter belts

Shelter belts : Trees are planted in a straight line to prevent soil erosion . These shelter belts stabilise dunes and prevent soil from wind erosion.

Or , Shelter belts consists of trees and /or shrubs ,plants as barrier to reduce wind speed and to protect crops, livestock, building, work place and roads from wind and snow as well as enhance biodiversity.

Strip cropping : To prevent the loss of soil due to the action of winds , large fields are divided into strips . Grass is then allowed to grow in between the strips . This is called strip cropping . This method breaks the force of the winds.
