● CAUSES OF SOIL EROISION PREDICTED BY SIR C.V RAMAN !!

The sudden burst of excessively heavy rain results into a large run of surplus water which causes soil erosion. The slope of land, removal of the natural protective coat of vegetation, ruts for flow of water with speed and no check to such flow are also the causes for soil erosion .

● PREVENTION BY IT !!

The easiest and most effective way to prevent erosion is to create root systems through growing vegetation. Strong plant root systems hold the soil and create stability beneath the surface. Mats, especially on steep grades and inclines, are another simple way to keep the soil in place .
