Step-by-step explanation:

arranging them in ascending order we get=73,85,94,94,100,108,120,133

so median is LCM of 94 and 94

Solution:-

To find :-

  • Median

Formula:-

1)If n is even then,

Median:-

 \frac{( \frac{n}{2}) th \: term + ( \frac{n}{2}  + 1)th \: term}{2}

2)If n is odd then.

Median:-

( \frac{n + 1}{2}) th \: term

  1. First we have to arrange this given data into ascending or descending order.

Ascending order:-

73 , 85 , 89 , 94 , 94 , 100 , 104 , 108 , 120 , 133

So , n = 10( Even)

So , 1st formula will be used.

By the problem:-

 \frac{( \frac{n}{2}) th \: term + ( \frac{n}{2} + 1)th \: term}{2} \\

Plot the value:-

 \frac{( \frac{10}{2}) th \: term + ( \frac{10}{2} + 1)th \: term}{2} \\ = > \frac{( 5) th \: term + ( 5 + 1)th \: term}{2} \\ = > \frac{( 5) th \: term + ( 6)th \: term}{2} \\ = > \frac{100 + 94}{2} \\ = > \frac{194}{2} \\ = > 97

Answer:-

97. (Option B)
