Given :

  • Co-ordinates of A ( 7 , 13 )

  • Co-ordinates of B ( 10 , 9 )

To Find :

  • Distance of AB

Solution :

 \large \boxed{ \sf \green{ Distance =  \sqrt{ {(x_2 - x_1)}^{2} +  {(y_2 - y_1}^{2}}}}

Here

 \sf x_2 = 10 \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x_1 = 7 \\  \\ \sf y_2 = 9\: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: y_1 = 13

Substituting values in formula

 \sf \implies AB = \sqrt{ {(10 -7)}^{2} +{(9 - 13)}^{2} } \\  \\ \sf \implies AB = \sqrt{ {(3)}^{2} +( { - 4)}^{2} }  \\  \\ \sf \implies AB = \sqrt{9 + 16}  \\  \\ \sf \implies AB = \sqrt{25} \\ \\\large \implies \boxed{ \boxed{ \sf \blue{ AB = 5\: unit}}}
