so now since an equilateral triangle is formed inside a square atleast 1 of the side of square and that of equilateral triangle would be same

so now we know that perimeter of equilateral triangle is 3×side

so thus its half the perimter ie semiperimeter s would be 3a/2 where a is its side

so here s=4×5/17

so 3a/2=4×5/17

=(4×17)+5/17

=68+5/17

=73×17

ie 3a×17=73×2

so 51a=146

hence =146/51

so to convert this fraction into mixed fraction

we could represent it as

2×44/51

=(51×2)+44/51

=102+44/51

=146/51

thus verified
