perimeter of any polygon is the sum of their sides

as they have given that this is an equilateral triangle, all sides are equal making this sum more easier

measure of one side is 15 cm

the remaining sides must be 15 cm each aswell as this is an equilateral triangle.... if it was an isosceles or scalene triangle, all sides wont be equal

perimeter is 15+15+15=30+15=45 cm

Given:-

  • Side of equilateral triangle is 15 cm.

⠀⠀⠀⠀

To find:-

  • Perimeter of triangle.

⠀⠀⠀⠀

Solution:-

⠀⠀⠀⠀

☘ Perimeter of triangle = a + b + c

In which a , b and c are side so triangle.

⠀⠀⠀⠀

☛ We know that, All sides of an equilateral triangle are equal.

☛If it is given that it is an isosceles or another triangle So,it's side will not be equal.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So, Perimeter will be

⇒15 + 15 + 15

45

⠀⠀⠀⠀

Therefore, Perimeter of triangle is 45 cm
