9. Gyanesh withdraws 3,00,000 from his bank
account. He gets the currency notes of 2000, 500,
and 100 in the ratio of 3:7:5. How many notes of
each denomination does he have?​

total amount = 300000

ratio of:

2000 rupees notes = 3x

500 rupees notes = 7x

100 rupees notes = 5x

amount from each denomination of notes:

2000×3x= 6000x rupees

500×7x= 3500x rupees

100×5x= 500x rupees

therefore,

6000x+3500x+500x = 300000 rupees

10000x = 300000

x = 300000/10000

x= 30

therefore,

no. of each notes:

no. of 2000rupees notes = 3x = 3×30= 90 notes

no. of 500rupees notes = 7x = 7×30= 210 notes

no. of 100rupees notes = 5x = 5×30= 150 notes
