Answer:

The Happy Prince helped a seamstress by sending his great ruby through the swallow. Then he requested the swallow to take out a sapphire from his eye and give it to a playwright who was about to faint because of hunger and cold. Another sapphire was sent to the match girl

The Happy Prince was very kind hearted and compassionate. He gifted the poor match girl one of his eyes that was made of sapphire.

Explanation :

In the story ‘The Happy Prince’ by Oscar Wilde the statue of a happy prince still bore the generosity and benevolence of the actual prince. One day when he saw a poor little match girl unable to sell her match sticks which had fallen into the gutter, his heart was full of sorrow.

He knew the torture the girl would face at the hands of her cruel father. So he requested the swallow that had sought refuge under his statue, to deliver one of his sapphire eyes to help the girl.
