Disguised unemployment is unemployment that does not affect aggregate economic output. It occurs when productivity is low and too many workers are filling too few jobs. It can refer to any part of the population that is not employed at full capacity.

Answer - tertiary sector different from other two sectors. This is because other two sectors produce goods but, this sector does not produce goods by itself. But the activities under this sector help in the development of the primary and secondary sectors. These activities are an aid or support for the production process.

10. What do you understand by disguised unemployment? Explain with an examples.

Answer - (i) In rural areas, where agriculture is the main source of income, this kind of unemployment can be seen often.
