if a:b=4:1

Then √a:√b=2:1 or √(a:b)=2:1

What do you mean by

√a/b+√b/a

?

If you mean

√(a/b)+√(b/a), Then it is

= 2+0.5=2.5

But if you mean, (√a)/b+(√b)/b, then the information is not enough to solve it as

(√a)/b+(√b)/b=(2 √b)/b+(√b)/b=(0.5+1)(1/√b)

which depends on the value of b

Answer:

Explanation:

a:b = 4:1

a/b = 4/1

b/a= 1/4

  • \sqrt{4/1}+\sqrt{1/4\\}
  • 2+1/2
  • 2+0.5
  • 2.5
