Let the angle be x

then,its complement is (90-x)

As,angle is half of its complement

Hence,x=1/2 (90-x)

2x=90-x

3x=90

.

.

x=30

complement =90-30=60.

.Hope it helps you.☺

Answer:

30° and 60°

Step-by-step explanation:

let the two complenentary angles be x and y

So,x+y= 90°.......(1)

According to ques.

x= y/2.......(2)

Putting the value of eqn. 2 in 1

y/2+y = 90°

taking the l.c.m;

y+2y/2 = 90°

3y/2= 90°

3y= 180°

y= 60°

Therefore; putting the value of y in eqn. 2;

x= 30°

So, the measures of angles are 30° and 60°

Hope it helps!!!!!!!!
