variance of 1,2,3,4,…………,10  is 99/12

3,6,9,12,………..,30

=> 3 ( 1 , 2 , 3,4,…………,10)

Hence each number is multiplied by 3

Variance of  3 ( 1 , 2 , 3,4,…………,10) = 3²  (variance of 1,2,3,4,…………,10 )

=> Variance of  3,6,9,12,………..,30  = 9   ( 99/12)  

= 9 * 9 * 11/12

= 9² * 11/12

SD = √Variance

=> SD =  √ (9² * 11/12)
