10. The height of a multistorey building is 190 m and the depth of its basement
is 10 m. A lift in building moves at a rate of 10 m/ 15 second. If a man
starts from terrace, how long will it take him to reach at bottom of the
basement ?

wrong answer = -2 marks

rosy attempted all answer and get 65 marks

from which only 15 were correct

so

15×5=75 marks

75-65=10 maeks

incorrect answers = -2marks

10. total distance= 190+10m=200m

speed of lift = 10/15= 2/3 per second

time= distance / speed

time = 200/(2/3)

time = 600/2

time = 300 second
