Given :-

  • Radius of the cylinder is 7 cm
  • Height of the cylinder is 10 cm

To Find :-

  • Curved Surface area of that cylinder

Solution :-

~Here, we're given the radius and height of cylinder and we need to find the Curved Surface Area ( CSA ) . We can easily find the CSA by putting the values in it's formula.

As we know that ,

CSA of Cylinder = 2πrh

Where,

  • π is 22/7
  • r is radius
  • h is height

_____________

Finding the CSA :-

\sf \dashrightarrow 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 7\;cm \times 10\;cm

\sf \dashrightarrow 2 \times 22 \times 10\;cm

\boxed{\bf{ \bigstar \;\; CSA = 440 \; cm^{2} }}

_____________

Therefore,

  • Curved Surface area of the cylinder is 440 cm²

Given :

  • A cylinder whose radius is 7 cm and height 10 cm.

To find :

  • Curved Surface area

Solution :

  • By using the formula 2πrh We will get the curved Surface Area of Cylinder.

✰ Radius (r) = 7cm

✰ Height (h) = 10 cm

_______________

Let's Find out...!

Curved Surface area = 2πrh

➤ 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 10

➤ 2 × 22 × 10

➤ 440 cm²

CSA of cylinder is 440 cm²
