Answer:

a)3/4

b) 4/5

c)37/20

Step-by-step explanation:

AD Will be 4cm by Pythagoras theorem

tan theta = sin theta by cos theta

=3/5/4/5

=3/4

b) sin (90 - theta)= cos theta therefore ans is 4/5

c) sec theta + sin theta

= 1/ cos theta + sin theta

= 5/4. + 3/5

= 37/20

Basic things to know is sin (90 - theta) is cos theta

and cos ( 90- theta ) is sin theta

sec theta is is 1/ cos theta

Answer:

(a) tan theta = opposite side/adjacent side

then,

tan theta=3/4

(b) sin(90-theta)= cos theta

then,

cos theta=adjacent side/hypotenuse

cos theta=4/5

(c) given

sec theta+cos(90-theta)

cos(90-theta)=sin theta

then

sin theta=3/5

sec theta=1/cos theta

then,

sec theta=1÷3/4

sec theta= 1×4/3

sec theta=4/3

then,

sec theta+cos(90-theta)=4/3+3/5

=4×5+3×3/3×5

=20+9/15

=29/15
