9. In the adjoining figure, ABC is right-angled at B
and A= 30°. If BC =6 cm, find (i) AB, (ii) AC.​

Draw a right angled △ABC using the given instructions :

Here, sin 30 = \large\frac{BC}{AC}

\large\frac{1}{2} = \large\frac{6}{AC}

Or AC = \large\rm\orange{12cm}

(AB)² = (AC)² - (BC)²

= (12)² - (6)²

= 108

AB = \large\sf\orange{6}\large\sf\sqrt\orange{3}
