Solution :-

We need to find ,

• The value of ‘x’ in the given figure

Given ,

• Line ACB is a straight line having two angles ∠ACD & ∠BCD
• ∠ACD = 5x
• ∠BCD = 4x

Now , using straight line property ,

Straight line property :- Sum of all angles on a straight line is equal to 180°

• ∠ACD + ∠BCD = 180°

Substituting ,

• ∠ACD = 5x
• ∠BCD = 4x

⇒ 5x + 4x = 180°

⇒ 9x = 180°

⇒ x = 180° ÷ 9

⇒ x = 20°

Hence , x = 20°
