SOLUTION

After joining both the cubes their side will be as follows :-

Height = 10cm

Breadth = 10cm

Length = 20cm

Hence it Be a Cuboid :-

Lateral Surface Area of a cuboid is

= 2h(L + B)

= 2 * 10 (20 + 10)

= 20 ( 30 )

=20 * 30

= 600cmsq.

Total surface Area =

2(LB + BH + HL)

= 2[(20 × 10) + (10 × 10) + (20 × 10)]

= 2(200 + 100 + 200)

= 2(500)

= 1000cmsq.
