Answer:

Suresh will pay ₹12540

Explanation:

Given,

Mahesh purchased a music system for ₹12,000

Then,

C. P.(cost price) of the music system is ₹12,000

And sold it to Ramesh at a 10% gain.

S. P. (selling price) of the music system is given by :-

 \sf \bullet \: SP = \dfrac{100 + profit\%}{100} \times CP

By the given data,

 \sf = \dfrac{100 + 10}{100} \times 12000

 \sf = \dfrac{110}{100} \times 12000

 \sf = 110 \times 120

 \sf = 13200

Now,

Ramesh sells it to Suresh for 5% loss

Again,

S. P. for 5% loss is given by :-

 \sf = \dfrac{100 - 5}{100} \times 13200

 \sf = \dfrac{95}{100} \times 13200

 \sf = 95 \times 132

 \sf = 12540

Hence, Suresh will pay 12540 to purchase the music system from Ramesh.
