Step-by-step explanation:

Let there is a right angled triangle with

sides AC, AB and BC and AC be the

longest side of this triangle.

So, in A ABC AC = 1 m, AB = 80 cm or

0.8 m and BC = ?

AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2

(1)2 = (0.8)2 = (BC)

(BC)^2 = 1 - 0.64

(BC)^2 = 0.36

BC = 0.6 m

Now, the area of the triangle = 1/2 x

Base * Height

= 1/2 x 0.6 x 0.8

Area of triangle = 0.24 sq m

Cost of scarf = 250 x 0.24

= Rs 60

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Side=80cm

Hypotenuse=1m=100cm

other side =x

BY Pythagoras Theorem

(100)²=(80)²+x²

or., 10000=6400+x²

or, 10000-6400=x²

or, 3600=x²

or, (60)² =x²

or, 60=x

NOW, AREA OF SCARF

=1/2×H×B

=1/2×80×60

=2400

=0.24m²

Now, A/q

=Cost of per m²=₹250

Cost of 2.4m²=₹250×0.24

=₹60
