Answer:

\boxed{\sf Number\; of \;people\;required\; to\; complete  \;the\; electric\; fitting\; in \;3 \;days = 15}

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of people who can complete the electric fitting of building in 5 days = 9 people.

Number of people who can complete the electric fitting of building in  3 days = ?

Let the number of  people who can complete the electric fitting of building in  3 days be 'x' .

Total Work  = Total Number of  people × Total days of work \longrightarrow (1)

In Case 1 ,

Total Number of people = 9

Total days of work = 5

∴ Total Work =  9 × 5 = 45 \longrightarrow (2)

We know that ,Total Work in both the cases will be same .

In Case 2 ,

Total days of work = 3

Total Number of people = x

So, From  (1) ,

Total Number of people =              Total Work

                                                     Total days of work

\implies\\  \dfrac{45}{3}

Total Number of people required to complete the electric fitting in 3 days = 15 people
