(1) Swollen neck or Goiter is a common condition in which your thyroid gland is swollen. Thyroid gland is a butterfly shaped gland found in neck.

There are multiple reasons behind it:

- Iron deficiency: People who are iron deficient can develop it

- Thyroiditis: It is an inflammation of thyroid glands.

- Grave’s disease: An autoimmune disease causing the thyroid to be overactive

- Goitrogens: External factors such as drugs, certain foods which would lead to goiter formation.

(2)Over production of growth hormone in children causes excessive growth, a condition called Gigantism. It mainly occurs due to the non-cancerous pituitary tumor.

(3)Testosterone is a vital hormone in males which leads to the development and maintenance of male reproductive parts. Growth of facial hair develops in boys aged 13 justifies that their body starts producing testosterone, which also justifies the arrival of puberty.
