9. rancidity is a process used for spoiling of food materials like vegetables etc.when kept for long time in open. how can you prevent such process to proceed? give an example.

1. By addition of anti-oxidants : For slowing down the process.

2. Vacuum packing : No air is present.

3. Nitrogen Flushing : Air is replaced by nitrogen(in food packets).

4. Refrigeration : Process slows down due to lowering of temperature.
