(a + b²)(a² - b)

= a(a² - b) + b²(a² - b)

= a³ - ab + a²b² - b³

More identities:-

  • (a ± b)² = a² ± 2ab + b²
  • (x + a)(x + b) = x² + (a + b)x + ab
  • (a + b)(a - b) = a² - b²
  • (a + b + c)² = a² + b² + c² + 2(ab + bc + ca)
  • (a ± b)³ = a³ ± b³ ± 3ab(a ± b)
  • a³ - b³ = (a - b)(a² + ab + b²)
  • a³ + b³ = (a + b)(a² - ab + b²)
  • a³ + b³ + c³ - 3abc = (a + b + c)(a² + b² + c² - ab - bc - ca)
