Explanation:

U see the moon rotating around the earth.

Assume that the moon is rotating in a circular orbit. Everytime the moon moves, it faces an acceleration since the orbit is not straight. Drawing a tangent along the motion of the moon, u will see the moon tries to move along the direction of the tangent so that it can gain a uniform velocity. Since the orbit is circular, the moon has an acceleration everytime and thus it has no velocity
