Given:

Area of rectangle = Area of parallelogram

Base of parallelogram (b) = 28cm

Height of parallelogram (h) = 15cm

Length of rectangle (l) = 21cm

To find:

Breadth of rectangle (B)

Formulas used:

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

Area of parallelogram = base × height

Solution:

Area of rectangle = Area of parallelogram

\sf{\implies l \times B = b \times h}

\sf{\implies21\times B = 28 \times 15}

\sf{\implies B = \frac{28 \times 15}{21} }

\sf\boxed{\therefore B=20cm}

Therefore, breadth of rectangle is 20cms.
