9. The area of a triangle is equal to that of a square whose side is 25 cm. Find the side of the triangle whose corresponding altinde is 10 cm​

the area of the triangle is equal to area of square of side 25 cm

and, altitude of triangle is 10cm

formula to apply :

area of square = side * side

are of triangle = 1/2 * base * altitude

solution :

area of the square = s*s

area of square = 25*25

= 625 cm²

given, area of triangle = area of square

area of triangle = 625 cm²

area of the triangle = 1/2 * b* a

625cm² = 1/2 * b * 10

b*5 = 625cm²

b= 625/5 cm

b= 125 cm

so the length of corresponding side of triangle = 125cm
