Given :-

  • height, h = 5 cm
  • base circumference = 100 cm

To Find :-

  • curved surface of the cylinder ?

Solution :-

we know that,

 \boxed{ \bold{circumference = 2\pi r}}

 \bold{: \implies 2\pi  r  = 100 \: cm}

and , we know that too,

 \boxed{ \bold{C.S.A \: of \: cylinder = 2\pi  rh}}

 \bold{: \implies2\pi rh \times 5 \: cm }

now, put the value of 2πr = 100 cm

 \bold{ : \implies 100 cm \times 5 cm} \\  \\  \bold{: \implies 500 \:  {cm}^{2}  } \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

so, curved surface area of the cylinder is 500 cm²

hence, option (c) is correct
