SOLUTION

GIVEN

The line is passing through the points (0,3) and (4,11)

TO DETERMINE

The equation of the line in the form y = mx + c

EVALUATION

Here it is given that the is passing through the points (0,3) and (4,11)

Hence the required equation of the line is

 \displaystyle \sf \:  \frac{y - 3}{x - 0}  =  \frac{11 - 3}{4 - 0}

 \displaystyle \sf \implies \frac{y - 3}{x }  =  \frac{8}{4}

 \displaystyle \sf \implies \frac{y - 3}{x }  =2

 \displaystyle \sf \implies y  - 3 = 2x

 \displaystyle \sf \implies y  = 2x + 3

Which is of the form y = mx + c
