Answer:

(i) The price paid by customer is Rs 14,075

(ii) The GST deposited by shopkeeper to Government is Rs 1575

(iii) The price paid by shopkeeper is Rs 8750  .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The market price of baby carriage = m.p = Rs 12500

The discount percentage = d = 30%

So, The selling price = s.p

Or, Discount % = \dfrac{m.p - s.p}{m.p}

Or, 30% = 1 - \dfrac{s.p}{12500}

Or, \dfrac{s.p}{12500} = 1 - 0.3

Or, \dfrac{s.p}{12500} = 0.7

∴ selling price = Rs 12500 × 0.7

Or, selling price = Rs 8750

Since The GST tax = 18%

The price of carriage after GST = Rs 8750 + rs 8750 × 18%

i.e The price of carriage after GST = Rs 8750 + rs 1575

Or, The price of carriage after GST = Rs 10325

(i) The price paid by customer = m.p of carriage + GSTtax amount

i,.e The price paid by customer = Rs 12500 + Rs 1575 = Rs 14,075

Hence, The price paid by customer is Rs 14,075

(ii) The GST deposited by shopkeeper to Government = The GST cost of carriage

hence The GST deposited by shopkeeper to Government is Rs 1575

(iii) The price paid by shopkeeper = Selling price of carriage + GST tax

Hence The price paid by shopkeeper is Rs 8750  . Answer
