we know that :-

• Every odd number cannot be coprime if it is divisible by the other factors of 27.

So,

→ Prime factors of 27 is = 3 * 3 * 3

Therefore,

→ The number of numbers relatively prime to 27 and less than 27 are = (Odd numbers less than 27) - (Multiple of Prime factors of 27) = { 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19,21,23,25 } - { 3,9,15,21 } = 13 - 4 = 9 . (Ans.)
